You can access the WPSolr dashboard from the WordPress admin sidebar. Depending on your version of WPSolr, a different name will appear (WPSOLR FREE, WPSOLR PRO, WPSOLR ENTERPRISE).
- Connect your indexes : Create or connect to how many indexes. Each index will be specific to a search engine and a search engine can use multiple indexes.
- Activate extensions (or add-ons) : Choose which extension you wish to activate (extensions are only available for editions PRO and above).
- Activate themes : Select the theme you are using. When active this will ensure that WPSOlR is compatible with your active theme.
- Define your search : Set your search options. If you have activated the “Views” extension, you can have multiple configurations each one using a specific index. It’s in this page that you will configure your search, recommendations (only available in WPSOLR ENTERPRISE edition), facets, sorting and any other features.
- Send your data : Send your WordPress data to be stored in each one of your indexes.
- Import / Export settings : You can export or import your WPSOLR settings using JSON format.
