wpsolrKeymaster7 years, 8 months ago in reply to: help with storing large text fields #10061How do you fill your custom field with a string of length greater than 32K?
wpsolrKeymaster7 years, 8 months ago in reply to: Issue with ACF PRo: missing ACF fields #10058but in Kibana, some of them are missing.
Missing in all documents indexed, or only in some?
What could happen is that some of the values are discarded, because they contain odd characters or are not compatible with their Elasticsearch field type. In screen 2.2, use “Stop indexing at first error” and reindex until the indexing process stops with an error.I’ve increased the max number of indexed fields but same problem.
Where did you find this option?
wpsolrKeymaster7 years, 8 months ago in reply to: elasticpress.io hosting? #10054Hi,
We made some tests, and it appears that elasticpress.io indexes are compatible with WPSOLR, with a small fix.
We are currently performing more tests, and should deliver the fix with WPSOLR 21.3.
wpsolrKeymaster7 years, 8 months ago in reply to: Replacement for Existing Search/Filtering Functionality #10050Yes, if you can build your grid in you search.php, with the standard WP loop https://codex.wordpress.org/The_Loop_in_Action.
WPSOLR is just intercepting the WP_Query, replace the call to MySQL with a call to Elasticsearch/Solr, and returns the query results transparently to your search loop.
wpsolrKeymaster7 years, 8 months ago in reply to: Replacement for Existing Search/Filtering Functionality #10047I understand you built one custom type, and 2 custom pages:
– /all-products/ : to display all products with a custom filter form
– /search/ : to display products filteredYou can use WPSOLR simply by merging your 2 pages code in the standard search.php template (with the standard search loop). Then, instead of copying your custom filters form code, add the filters widget to your search page sidebar.
Now, you have a single page for your 2 previous actions:
– /?s to display all products, but also filtered products (with WPSOLR facets widget)
And you can add more filters by configuration, for instance a date range slider.wpsolrKeymaster7 years, 8 months ago in reply to: "Did you mean" search suggestion feature #10034Did you see suggestions explanation?
wpsolrKeymaster7 years, 8 months ago in reply to: search facet checkboxes do not appear #10032Great.
wpsolrKeymaster7 years, 8 months ago in reply to: search facet checkboxes do not appear #10028Hello,
Did you see the Checkbox layouts documentation
You can also read a full tutorial on to setup a theme and the facets widget.
wpsolrKeymaster7 years, 8 months ago in reply to: RunExecutableListener is deprecated and disabled by default for security reasons #10023It is done automatically, whenever a post type is created/updated/trashed. Unless you check the “Do not index in real-time” option in screen 2.2
wpsolrKeymaster7 years, 8 months ago in reply to: Error in Items indexing #10021Why do not you specify it on the website?
It was always specified. Both on the pricing page (tooltips on the Directory+ description), and on the changelog. The new Directory+ documentation is only confirming, with details, that only items are managed by the add-on.
As I said, we developed a test plugin rather than a money-back guarantee, to prevent that kind of misunderstanding: one can evaluate all features (or missing features) in real-conditions, and decide to buy with plain knowledge.
wpsolrKeymaster7 years, 8 months ago in reply to: Error in Items indexing #10019As described in the Directory+ documentation, WPSOLR’s Directory+ add-on is accelerating items search.
We provide a test plugin to prevent any surprise. In consequence, we do not refund, as stated in our terms and conditions.
wpsolrKeymaster7 years, 8 months ago in reply to: Error in Items indexing #10017Error in one or more bulk request actions: index: /my-elastic-index/wpsolr_types/1435 caused failed to parse
Is there anything special with your item id 1435? You can eventually edit it, and check the WPSOLR meta option “Do not index”.
in addition to a search engine for Items, I need to create another independent for woocommerce products
It’s not possible. A more detailed explanation can be found here: /forums/topic/questions-and-doubts/
