Hi,
RunExecutableListener is disabled in WPSOLR’s solrconfig.xml files, as it should. It seems you are updating an index not created from WPSOLR’s configuration files. Please create another index from WPSOLR: /guide/configuration-step-by-step-schematic/configure-your-indexes/connect-to-an-apache-solr-index/
Im also wondering if we have to click “Index selected post types in index ‘Index Name’” to index the website data?
Yes indeed, you have to, once your index is created from WPSOLR.
wpsolrKeymaster7 years, 8 months ago in reply to: cURL error 7: Failed to connect to localhost port 8983: Connection refused #9976Indeed, ports other than 443 or 80 are often blocked by the WP host.
I am running the cloud start up
What is “the cloud start up”? Your WP hosting, your Solr hosting?
I have actually still got it stored locally
Do you mean your Solr is installed on your WP machine? Or on another machine of your WP provider? If so, how was Solr installed, and which version?
wpsolrKeymaster7 years, 8 months ago in reply to: cURL error 7: Failed to connect to localhost port 8983: Connection refused #9973Hi,
Is your outgoing port 443 or 80?
What is your Solr/Elasticsearch hosting service?

wpsolrKeymaster7 years, 8 months ago in reply to: WPSolr and ElasticSearch is NOT Working #9959I have tried everything mentioned in your documentation
It seems so, indeed. But each environment is different. Your issue could be due to your Elasticsearch, or PHP version, or other plugins. This is what we need to verify now.
It is exactly for this reason, eliminate the risk, that we provide a test version. Anyone can install it, and check that everything is fine before buying a license.
I’m very confident, because WPSOLR is incredibly tested (120 selenium tests executed in parallel on Jenkins for Kubernetes), and was not reported for a single bug for years.
Let me know if you want to continue investigating.
wpsolrKeymaster7 years, 8 months ago in reply to: WPSolr and ElasticSearch is NOT Working #9955I meant these suggestions:
You can deactivate WPSOLR, and see what happens.
Or even better, configure some facets in screen 2.4, add the WPSOLR facets widget to your search page. Facets should appear, and it is only possible if Elasticsearch is sending back the results. Is there a possibility that you refund me money?
We provide a test plugin to prevent any surprise. In consequence, we do not refund, as stated in our terms and conditions.
wpsolrKeymaster7 years, 8 months ago in reply to: WPSolr and ElasticSearch is NOT Working #9951Please try my previous suggestions.
wpsolrKeymaster7 years, 8 months ago in reply to: WPSolr and ElasticSearch is NOT Working #9949Looks fine.
Plus, how are you sure that the results coming out of search are from ElasticSearch?

There are not WPSOLR errors in the javascript console.wpsolrKeymaster7 years, 8 months ago in reply to: WPSolr and ElasticSearch is NOT Working #9946Please send me the screenshots of screens: 3., WooCommerce add-on.

Above is the search URL.As you can see, the search returned 24 results, but only 3 products are displayed.
Here could be an explanation:
In screen 2.2, you indexed products, posts, and pages. The 24 results contain a mix of posts, pages, and products. But you use a WooCommerce theme, which can only display products. Therefore, on the first page of 9 results, the 3 products are shown, and the other posts/pages are not show. Hence, only 3 products are actually shown in the first page of results. Here is a fix:
– Activate the WPSOLR WooCommerce add-on. The add-on will filter out posts and pages (only products remain) from results. Therefore, your theme will be able to display all results, which now contain only products
– Unselect posts and pages from screen 2.2, empty the index content, and re-index everything. You index will then only contain products.wpsolrKeymaster7 years, 8 months ago in reply to: WPSolr and ElasticSearch is NOT Working #9939Did you activate the WPSOLR WooCommerce add-on?
