This is your theme’s speed to show/format results that will determine the overall speed.
Total time = WPSOLR query + your theme’s rendering
WPSOLR query time is in the order of milliseconds (with a local Solr Elasticsearch installation) .
wpsolrKeymaster8 years ago in reply to: Amazon like search ? #6808Probably.
In fact it depends on your current site general speed.
WPSOLR search is virtually instantaneous.
But after retrieving results from Solr/Elasticsearch, it gives results to your theme. This is where most of the time is spent.
wpsolrKeymaster8 years ago in reply to: Unexpected END OF FILE error in class-wpsolr-query.php #6802Thanks for the feedback.
This is fixed and included in WPSOLR.
wpsolrKeymaster8 years ago in reply to: MyListing theme extension #6792Not yet, no.
We currently only provide Listify, Directory+, Jobify, Listable.
Let’s see if other visitors ask for MyListing too.
wpsolrKeymaster8 years ago in reply to: WPSOLR is not indexing my data in real-time #6790I can confirm that your posts are indexed in real-time (unless you deactivated real-time indexing in screen 2.2).
But posts indexed in real-time appear also as “not indexed yet”. It is just a guarantee that they will be picked up by the next synchronisation, if the real-time event failed for any reason.
wpsolrKeymaster8 years ago in reply to: Elasticsearch setup on Cloudways.com #6788I checked your search. It looks good to me. I can see the dynamic facets and the live suggestions.
wpsolrKeymaster8 years ago in reply to: Elasticsearch setup on Cloudways.com #6786What is in your WP logs ?
Also, reading the Cloudways documentation, your Elasticsearch index settings in screen 1.0 should be:
Protocol : HTTP
domain: 127.0.0.1
Port: 9200wpsolrKeymaster8 years ago in reply to: WPSOLR messing up my WooCommerce search template #6782Your search form on home is not adding “post_type=product” to the search url.
Probably because it is not the WooCommerce search form.
You should add it manually, or use the standard WooCommerce search box shortcode.
wpsolrKeymaster8 years ago in reply to: Suggestions are not showing up #6778The suggestions are there, I can see them.
But for an unknown reason, your theme’s css hide the suggestions.
Try asking your developer to check it out.
wpsolrKeymaster8 years ago in reply to: Suggestions are not showing up #6776Did you install our WooCommerce extension?. Your site is a WooCommerce shop.

wpsolrKeymaster8 years ago in reply to: Documentation for the free WPSOLR #6766The free WPSOLR version is deprecated, and therefore its documentation will stay as it is.
wpsolrKeymaster8 years ago in reply to: Unable to replace the default WordPress search with WPSOLR search #6761Please check your Javascript console logs (chrome or firefox).
You should see this WPSOLR message:
“WPSOLR PRO : an error prevented the search engine query to be executed. To prevent empty results, the default WordPress query is used instead. Please check the error details in your debug.log file. See https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress.”Check in your debug.log WordPress log file if an error pops up.
wpsolrKeymaster8 years ago in reply to: Rejecting mapping update as the final mapping would have more than 1 type #6757The messages states that the Kibana index is out of index, not your index.
You’ll find procedures to upgrade the Kibana index by googling. For instance https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/14934.
