My feeling is that WordPress does not reach your Elasticsearch server while querying.

This is called facet exclusion.

It makes sense inside a facet, but among facets it just means facets do not refresh on selections anymore.

Yes. Cross-facets selection implies a “AND”.

For me, all looks good.

Both brands and models have a “OR” setting.

Even the link you mentioned looks ok.
