Hi,

We are using the plugins for a multifaceted search. But seems to be that it’s not working properly.

When you facetclick “merk” you can select multiple “merk” facets and it results in a list of all those “merk” cars.

But then when you click a “model” facet it’s gonna drill down and use an end instead of an or it seems.

Can you take a look and share me you findings?

I played a little with both facets. Looks good to me.

Can you send me a url with the facets selected, and what you expect in results?

I would expect the “merk” filters to be more then the 3 now showed. The “merk fields are drilled down by the “model” facet.

First multi select some “merk” facets. Wait for the result and then multi select the model facets. I think the or works just for the facet block. It’s not working in or when you multi select from multiple facetblocks.

For me, all looks good.

Both brands and models have a “OR” setting.

Even the link you mentioned looks ok.

I don’t know how it looks at your side but with me there are 3 facets left in “merk” but there should be a bunch more? See screen shots…

Yes. Cross-facets selection implies a “AND”.

Yes but all the other “merk” facets should be there also? Not only Ford,Mercedes-Benz and volkswagen. But also the other not selected “merk” facets like volvo and Renault etc. etc. etc. Do you understand the use case?

This is called facet exclusion.

It makes sense inside a facet, but among facets it just means facets do not refresh on selections anymore.

I’m not sure what you’re saying. But is it possible to change it? An if yes can you point me in the right direction?
