I tried now out of curiosity “-1” but it doesn’t allow to save the settings if this value is introduced.

wpsolrKeymaster6 years, 5 months ago in reply to: Select2 drop down list – Maximum options limit #19782Drawback is more data to collect by Solr and send back to WordPress. Probably a bit slower.

wpsolrKeymaster6 years, 5 months ago in reply to: Select2 drop down list – Maximum options limit #19781I just changed it to 500. It now works as intended and up to 500 results are shown.
Problem fixed!
Although setting to 0 does not give unlimited results as is indicated. Maybe a bug ?
Thanks! Never passed my mind trying a diferent number.
What are the drawbacks of showing more results? It doesn’t seem to slow down the processing time for the page load.
wpsolrKeymaster6 years, 5 months ago in reply to: Select2 drop down list – Maximum options limit #19780No. of values to be displayed by filters
Is set to 0
Which should show unlimited values.
wpsolrKeymaster6 years, 5 months ago in reply to: Bredcrumbs missing category levels #19779Replying to your last question… it should be:
HOME / SHOP / Travao / Discos / EBC Brakes
I somewhat explained it above in my previous reply.
Anything between /SHOP/ and the last opened active subcategory will be missing.
wpsolrKeymaster6 years, 5 months ago in reply to: Select2 drop down list – Maximum options limit #19778Did you set a facets maximum count in screen 2.1?
wpsolrKeymaster6 years, 5 months ago in reply to: Bredcrumbs missing category levels #19777If you test out the filters, you will see how it will also mix together the subcategory in the results if it is the same name. In this case of the link above, subcategory “EBC”.
For example, the link above is for Brake discs of brand “EBC”.
But I also have the same name “EBC” under a different category tree.
So…
Category A -> Subcategory A -> Subcategory B (“EBC”)
Will be mixed together with:
Category A -> Subcategory X -> Subcategory Y (“EBC”)
I belieive, this happens because the category tree is missing in the breadcrumbs. As the first category is shown with the last subcategory (missing all that is between), all subcategories (the opened page) that have the same name will be mixed in the results.
wpsolrKeymaster6 years, 5 months ago in reply to: Bredcrumbs missing category levels #19776I can see breadcrumbs “HOME / SHOPE / BC BRAKES”. Is that not expected?
wpsolrKeymaster6 years, 5 months ago in reply to: Select2 drop down list – Maximum options limit #19775I changed it back to Select2 (website is live).
