I’ll have to investigate for your current issue, and produce a fix.

The forum is the only support channel.

Please create 2 new topics for the other issues.

Ok, now what? What is your suggestion? How do I resolve this? Do you have another means of contact other than a public forum?

I have other issues as well, such as:

    – Using ajax, breadcrumbs not updating correctly with all the levels of categories -> subcategories, although permalink works correctly. When not using ajax there is no problem.

    – select2 drop down list.. number of maximum facet results in the drop down list. There seems to be a max number of facets to be displayed. I need to adjust one of them to show more. For example, I have a brand that has a catalogue for most makes of cars. The drop down list will not show all makes for selection because the list is big. It goes from Audi.. Austin… till VW.. Volvo… but it stops half way. So I only get the makes from A to K… and the rest is missing.

Looks like an escaping characters issue.

These are the two reoccurring SOLR errors that I am seeing on the SOLR log.

“undefined field undefined” is strange indeed.

Do you continue to see the errors in Solr logs?

    5. Remove the “search-original” template name in 2.1. You do not need it, as you will use your own WP archive/search templates.

    wpsolr
    Keymaster

    4. Selecting categories in 2.1 should also select custom taxonomies.

    wpsolr
    Keymaster

    3. Live suggestions do not contain filters. It is a feature by design.
I know other SaaS search do that, but this is mostly because they cannot integrate to the standard WP search template, and so has to use Javascript to put the whole search in suggestions.

    wpsolr
    Keymaster

    2. To see taxonomies in suggestions, you need to index them in 2.2, then create a suggestion of type “Grouped results” with the taxonomies selected to be displayed.

    1. WPSOLR is working for WP archives indeed. With exceptions for which extensions were built (MyListing, Listify, Toolset Views…).

    wpsolr
    Keymaster

You should first configure your filters in screen 2.4, and add the widget to your side bar(s) so you can see them on all your archive pages selected in screen 2.1

The /wpsolr page shown in your video is the deprecated WPSOLR search template. Try /?s= (search archive), or your other archives instead (CPT, categories, terms…).

    Did you activate other extensions?

Can you send me screenshots of your screens 2.1, 2.2?
