    “Download and install without any license on:
    localhost, dev.domain, test.domain, staging.domain”

    Indeed, with those domains, you should have full access to all WPSOLR features, without even been asked a license.
    Just be aware that ports are not recognized (https://localhost will be accepted, but https://localhost:8081 will not)

    I’m afraid this is not possible.

    I understand you need to switch between 2 search field, one with analysers (the default “text”), one without analyser (let say “text_exact”).

    You can define field “text_exact” and its custom analyser in Solr schema.xml, and even populate “text_exact” automatically with a instruction (as already done for “text” field):

    <copyField source="title" dest="text_exact"/>
    <copyField source="tags" dest="text_exact"/>
    <copyField source="categories" dest="text_exact"/>
    <copyField source="content" dest="text_exact"/>
    <copyField source="permalink" dest="text_exact"/>
    <copyField source="comments" dest="text_exact"/>

    After that, you need to switch the Solr’s query from “text:(truth)” to “text_exact:(truth)”, based on some url query parameter (you already have “exact_match”).
    To do that, before the query is sent to Solr, you can catch the Solarium’s client object, and use its api to make the switch.

    An example in your custom class:

    use Solarium\QueryType\Select\Query\Query;

    add_action( WPSOLR_Events::WPSOLR_ACTION_SOLARIUM_QUERY, [$this, 'wpsolr_action_query',], 10, 1 );

    public function wpsolr_action_query( $parameters ) {
     if (...) {
       // url does not contains the parameter
       return;
      }

     /* This is the Solarium\QueryType\Select\Query\Query */
     $solarium_query = $parameters[ WPSOLR_Events::WPSOLR_ACTION_SOLARIUM_QUERY__PARAM_SOLARIUM_QUERY ];

     /* Retrieve the query like "text:(truth)"
     $query = solarium_query->getQuery();

     /* Extract the default field (regexp, ...), and replace it with the exact field
     $query_exact = ...

     /* Save the query like "text_exact:(truth)"
     $query = solarium_query->setQuery(query_exact);
    }

    You cannot, unless you accept to loose your current sort order (like relevancy, or most popular).

    You could add the instock/outofstock custom field as a filter: your visitors can decide to only see stocks, only see out of stocks, or both.
    You can also set the “instock” filter value as defaulted: your visitors will only see stocks, unless they decide to deselect the filter to see all products.

    Thanks for your patience.

    Verifone’s chargeback team confirmed I could now refund you.

    I started the process. You should receive confirmations from Verifone soon (a few hours).

    I’m afraid it is not possible (It would be easier to rebuild a full plugin).

    large amount of orders/coupons is not being synced

    Your data is indexed in real-time, but also marked as “to be indexed”. It is an insurance that all modified data will be indexed, even in the case of a real-time failure (network down, Elasticsearch down …), by just executing a synchronisation from time to time.

    we have 2 different words in hebrew for let’s say the word “jam” (as in jelly/jam food/confiture)

    You need to add synonyms indeed: /manage-elasticsearch-and-solr-analyser-configuration-files/.
    But your idea of adding synonyms as tags is quite clever, and should work too.
    I you use Algolia, you can see in your analytics all keywords searched, and also add synonyms manually or automatically (https://www.algolia.com/doc/guides/algolia-ai/dynamic-synonym-suggestions/). Algolia’s dynamic suggestions are not implemented in WPSOLR.
    There are other possibilities, like NLP APIs to generate tags automatically, but this is a full topic on itself. WPSOLR provides some NLP APIs with /guide/configuration-step-by-step-schematic/activate-extensions/extension-nlp/ (not sure it can help here though).

    what does Index post excerpt and expand shortcodes do?

    “Index post excerpt” makes your post excerpts indexable and searchable.
    “Expand shortcodes” expands your content shortcodes before indexing them: if a shortcode generates some text, the text will be indexed ans searched with your content.

    which method do you recommend adding add to cart button in live search results

    Those suggestions seem to come from your theme. Nothing WPSOLR can act upon.

    i am trying to make category names searchable in the header search

    It depends what you’re looking for:
    a) Displaying products in search from a category name
    Yes, this is a feature of WPSOLR. Just verify that you have selected “Index custom fields and categories” in screen 2.2
    b) Displaying categories in search among other results
    This is not possible, as in WordPress only searcheable post types can be displayed in archives. Categories are not post types.
    c) Displaying categories in suggestions among other results
    This is possible with WPSOLR suggestions, which you are not using currently.

    WPSOLR facets is a standard WP widget. You can remove it from any sidebar (shop, or other), and even change the layout of your shop page to not display any sidebar (depends on your theme).

    No option for that, because it depends on the theme’s behaviour.

    But a javascript event is triggered after the overlay is closed:
    jQuery(document).trigger(‘wpsolr_on_ajax_success’);

    You should be able intercept this event in some theme’s custom javascript, to close your theme’s mobile popup.

    Probably because the loading gif and overlay are centered on the results container, which is not really visible while the mobile sidebar popup is open.

    You can change that with the option “Ajax Overlay container” in the “Theme” extension:
    – .res_facets
    To center the overlay on the facets

    – #main
    To center the overlay on the whole page

    You will have to create 2 indexes, as described on /documentation/configuration-step-by-step-schematic/activate-extensions/wpml-add-on/

    With Solr, you’ll need to modify manually one of the schema.xml files to set a French analyser.
    With Elasticsearch and Algolia, you can select a language analyser on each index definition.

    If you mean the payment checkout page from Verifone, this is just a choice of language to understand the payment instructions.

    Regarding license, WPSOLR requires one license per WordPress site: one license for one WP single-site domain, or one license per site on a multi-site WP.

    In your case, with WPML on one domain, you need one license, even with 2 or more WP languages.
