wpsolrKeymaster2 years, 1 month ago in reply to: Adding CPT to Index under 2.2 doesn’t appear under Send your data tab. #45960It could be that the ACF post type is registered after the WPSOLr code is executed. Can you control in ACF the hook priority?

wpsolrKeymaster2 years, 1 month ago in reply to: Transliteration #45877It is an analyser configuration dependent on the search engine.
For Elasticsearch, you can choose a predefined language analyser at the index creation in WPSolr screen.
For Apache Solr, you will need to modify the schema.xml to your requirements https://solr.apache.org/guide/solr/latest/indexing-guide/document-analysis.htmlFor Weaviate or Vespa.ai vector search, this is done automatically by the embeddings model (OpenAI, Cohere, PaLM…)

wpsolrKeymaster2 years, 1 month ago in reply to: Config override for local dev #45866I understand now. Basically, a defined PHP constant can be set to override the database settings, loaded by some WP code or by external frameworks like BedRock .env
The problem being that WPSolr supports multi-indexes, multi-views configuration. Some engines use a domain, some an endpoint, some http/https, some ports, and so on.
Which implies that the constant must be able to map the same multi-level structure as the full settings.
I have think about that before acting.
wpsolrKeymaster2 years, 1 month ago in reply to: Config override for local dev #45863My local settings override the plugins
How? Is it stored in an external file?
wpsolrKeymaster2 years, 1 month ago in reply to: Config override for local dev #45861Could you show me here examples of how the other enterprise plugins do that?
wpsolrKeymaster2 years, 1 month ago in reply to: Config override for local dev #45859I do not understand how changing the Elasticsearch host can be part of the plugin settings. It looks more about docker compose settings or /etc/hosts
wpsolrKeymaster2 years, 1 month ago in reply to: Config override for local dev #45857All WPSolr settings can be exported and reimported. You can update the Elasticsearch host in the json content before the import.
wpsolrKeymaster2 years, 1 month ago in reply to: Recommendations ETA? #45847WPSolr now delivers Weaviate content-based recommendations (with near object).
It also delivers Vespa.ai search, without recommendations though.
