I’m looking for transliteration settings and not sure how to activate this with wpsolr pro.

Currently on my search, accented characters are treated as distinct (a keyword spelled with the letter ‘e’ will not include results with the accented character like ‘é’). Fuzzy search is a workaround, but is not the intended result.

It is an analyser configuration dependent on the search engine.

For Elasticsearch, you can choose a predefined language analyser at the index creation in WPSolr screen.
For Apache Solr, you will need to modify the schema.xml to your requirements https://solr.apache.org/guide/solr/latest/indexing-guide/document-analysis.html

For Weaviate or Vespa.ai vector search, this is done automatically by the embeddings model (OpenAI, Cohere, PaLM…)
