Its great to see a plugin that does ‘proper’ search via vector embeddings.. but just a quick about your Weaviate option. I see you provide a docker for this in docs, but does your plugin also support Weaviate cloud services, as this is what we already use in some other projects?

just wanted to check before we test this out further for our woocommerce stores.

Weaviate Cloud Services (WCS) is implemented in WPSOLR, but is not working unfortunately due to the variable AUTOSCHEMA_ENABLED.

Thanks for the fast reply, do you have any other recommendation other than google retail AI, that we could consider that does not require any extra docker container etc.. as that is not something I have the technical expertise/time to manage at the moment, as we just want to focus on running our store with the best possible search?

You could use Weaviate on Kubernetes to host all your client vector indexes.

Or Algolia, Opensolr, Elastic, AWS Opensearch ?

WPSolr Enterprise now supports Weaviate Cloud services (WCS). Our Weaviate demo is hosted at WCS.
