Correct.
wpsolrKeymaster4 years, 3 months ago in reply to: Search keyword not working properly #30098You can try to skip the problem:
Replace line 145:
$term_parent = get_term( $term_parent_id, ‘category’ );With:
$term_parent = get_term( $term_parent_id, ‘category’ );
if ( ! $term_parent || is_wp_error( $term_parent ) ) {
// Skip and continue on next loop iteration
continue;
}wpsolrKeymaster4 years, 3 months ago in reply to: Search keyword not working properly #30096Both error are similar: an ancestor of a term has not slug or no name.
You can try to output the term’s content in your logs to try to find the problem.wpsolrKeymaster4 years, 3 months ago in reply to: Search keyword not working properly #30083It looks like some categories do not have names. Do you import them?
wpsolrKeymaster4 years, 3 months ago in reply to: autocomplete_solr.js drives an endless reload loop in Chrome when url has # #30065It’s already part of the next release: https://trello.com/c/40zHUwhX/193-fix-url-with-hash-caracter-triggering-endless-popstate-events
This code is about managing the back button history with WPSOLR Ajax. I can’t see this small fix breaking anything, but We will be sure only after all automated tests prior to next release.
wpsolrKeymaster4 years, 3 months ago in reply to: autocomplete_solr.js drives an endless reload loop in Chrome when url has # #30063As a workaround, Line 114 you could add a condition to prevent ‘#’ urls to trigger the event:
window.addEventListener("popstate", function (e) { if (wp_localize_script_autocomplete.data.is_show_url_parameters && !window.location.href.indexOf('#')) { call_ajax_search_timer(window.location.search, false, true); } });wpsolrKeymaster4 years, 3 months ago in reply to: autocomplete_solr.js drives an endless reload loop in Chrome when url has # #30062I confirm your issue. For chrome, and Safari.
Digging in the issue right now…wpsolrKeymaster4 years, 4 months ago in reply to: integrate WPSolr with Oxygen Builder #30056It should work if you use WPSOLR on archive pages, and your theme is getting results with the standard post loop.
Check for errors in your debug.log and chrome js console: WPSOLR reverts back to WP search if Elasticsearch errors happen.
You can also activate our Query Monitor add-on to check for the Elasticsearch queries.
wpsolrKeymaster4 years, 4 months ago in reply to: Search keyword not working properly #29980This is supposed to work.
The WP cron ‘publish_future_post’ calls WP check_and_publish_future_post(), which calls WP wp_publish_post(), which finally calls WP action ‘save_post’, which is then used by WPSOLR to add/update/remove the post from the index.
I made a full test, by calling the cron on a post. The post was added to the index as expected.wpsolrKeymaster4 years, 4 months ago in reply to: deleted items still showing in suggestions #29885You can check the code in function delete_term_from_solr_index() of file wpsolr-pro/wpsolr/core/wpsolr_include.inc.php
Just be aware that this code is not a public API: internal methods can change at any time in next releases.
wpsolrKeymaster4 years, 4 months ago in reply to: Search keyword not working properly #29883Try without https, or without port 80.
We also have a full tutorial for OpenSolr.wpsolrKeymaster4 years, 4 months ago in reply to: Search keyword not working properly #29880You should copy the url mentioned in a browser: looks like the https is not compatible with the port 80
wpsolrKeymaster4 years, 4 months ago in reply to: deleted items still showing in suggestions #29878There are only 2 ways to find the problem on your site: a php error in logs, or deactivate plugins to find where the conflict comes from. You do not seem to have the former, so I asked you to investigate the latter.
But as I said, WPSOLR will not work with Dokan or any other multi vendor plugins: I’m not sure it is worth investigating the issue. And in that case, you will be refunded if you ask for.
wpsolrKeymaster4 years, 4 months ago in reply to: deleted items still showing in suggestions #29876No, because it should work.
It could be a conflict with some other plugins.
You could try to deactivate them until deletes works. Or install a plain new WooCommerce with WPSOLR and check deletes work.wpsolrKeymaster4 years, 4 months ago in reply to: deleted items still showing in suggestions #29874You should see instead when trashing:
(WPSOLR) Product removed from index "xxx"
