For your price, you should select the type “Float number” rather than integer number in screen 2.2 (then reindex all the data).
wpsolrKeymaster4 years, 1 month ago in reply to: Sort by Price not working – ajax error #30700Did you select “_price” in screen 2.2, and reindexed all your data?
wpsolrKeymaster4 years, 1 month ago in reply to: SyntaxError: Unexpected token ‘P’, “Posts excl”… is not valid JSON #30698Looking at the debug log, it seems that the “categories” taxonomy contains objects instead of simple texts.
For instance:
{ “name”: “pa_type-2”, “value”: “187875”, “position”: “1”, “is_visible”: “1”, “is_variation”: “0”, “is_taxonomy”: “1” }wpsolrKeymaster4 years, 1 month ago in reply to: Can we show content from specific acf field as search result excerpt? #30694Yes, the shortcode and its autogenerated page are deprecated.
Select 2.2. option “Search template” with “Use my own current theme search template”: your theme will display WPSOLR results as usual on standard WP archive pages. You can then add the WPSOLR facets widget on your archive pages with the WP customizer.

What is the order number?wpsolrKeymaster4 years, 1 month ago in reply to: Can we show content from specific acf field as search result excerpt? #30683The search results are displayed by your theme: you can modify its search loop to show what you need.
wpsolrKeymaster4 years, 1 month ago in reply to: Show post type results based on custom filed date expiration #30680Boost is reordering from matching between the field content and keywords, not base on field content alone.
You could use Advanced decay scoring, which requires Elasticsearch.
Or set your own custom field as default sort on your post type archive (does not work on general search with mixed post type results), with code:
add_filter( WPSOLR_Events::WPSOLR_FILTER_DEFAULT_SORT, 'my_filter_default_sort', 10, 2 ); public function my_filter_default_sort( $default_sort, $wpsolr_query ) { if ( /* condition here to detect the post type archive */ ) { return 'my_custom_field' . '_str' . '_desc'; } return default_sort; }- This reply was modified 4 years, 1 month ago by wpsolr.
wpsolrKeymaster4 years, 1 month ago in reply to: Show post type results based on custom filed date expiration #30678Yes, any custom field indexed in screen 2.2 can be used as default sort in screen 2.5
wpsolrKeymaster4 years, 1 month ago in reply to: Unable to create new core WPSolr 22.3, Solr 9.0 #30675It could be an issue with folder rights: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/50335733/adding-core-solr-error
For instance, if you installed Solr with root, but started it with solr user, solr user cannot write in root’s owned folders.
Ifls -l /var/solr9/data/shows root owner, change the owner recursively withchown -R solr:solr /var/solr9/data/- This reply was modified 4 years, 1 month ago by wpsolr.
wpsolrKeymaster4 years, 1 month ago in reply to: Unable to create new core WPSolr 22.3, Solr 9.0 #30673Then, use /solr/index1 to connect to this exiting index.
wpsolrKeymaster4 years, 1 month ago in reply to: Unable to create new core WPSolr 22.3, Solr 9.0 #30672Or just copy WPSOLR files in /var/solr9/data/index1/conf, with default values on the Solr’s new index1 parameters (instanceDir: index1)
wpsolrKeymaster4 years, 1 month ago in reply to: Unable to create new core WPSolr 22.3, Solr 9.0 #30671Copy the WPSOLR files in a new folder /var/solr9/data/configsets/index1/conf
Then create a index1 index in the Solr admin, but with instanceDir: configsets/index1
