Restart indexing with batch size “1” until it fails. Then start again to only see the error post in the debug. It should be more interesting.
wpsolrKeymaster3 years, 10 months ago in reply to: Replace front-end archives causing issues with custom taxonomies #31546If you selected the post type “post” on screen 2.1, with its cf and taxonomies, indexed your posts, it should be fine.
Did you index your posts?
wpsolrKeymaster3 years, 10 months ago in reply to: Replace front-end archives causing issues with custom taxonomies #31544(your blog needs also to be the posts archive for WPSOLR to be able to replace its query and fill the facets)
wpsolrKeymaster3 years, 10 months ago in reply to: Replace front-end archives causing issues with custom taxonomies #31543What I understand from the video: your custom posts and custom taxonomy terms are fine, but the post category terms in the blog are not.
On screen 2.2 you select either post types (that appear in search or suggestions, their terms will only be used as facets), or taxonomies (that appear in suggestions only).
What you want is to search posts with their categories as facets: for that you need to index posts on screen 2.2 (and their related taxonomies and custom fields in subselections).
wpsolrKeymaster3 years, 10 months ago in reply to: No text specified for text query #31541Indeed.
wpsolrKeymaster3 years, 10 months ago in reply to: Trouble with exact match search #31539Exact match is not a feature provided by WPSOLR.
You can read an other topic on exact match.
wpsolrKeymaster3 years, 10 months ago in reply to: No text specified for text query #31537It looks like your Elasticsearch query is not well-formed, perhaps the query keywords are missing.
If you added custom code to modify the query, activate the WPSOLR’s query log to check the problem.wpsolrKeymaster3 years, 10 months ago in reply to: Cancel Subscription #31534I cancelled your subscription’s automatic renewal. It will expire and be removed automatically on its expiration date.
wpsolrKeymaster3 years, 10 months ago in reply to: Stop indexing from test instances #31527You could just throw an exception in your code to stop the indexing.
wpsolrKeymaster3 years, 10 months ago in reply to: Disable all sorting by plugin #31523If you wrote your own sort for your own queries, they both will be replaced with WPSOLR’s queries and sort. You cannot have your sort with WPSOLR’s queries.
Regarding WPSOLR sort, there is always one and it cannot be “removed”. It is either the default relevancy sort of your search engine, or a sort from a custom field.
wpsolrKeymaster3 years, 10 months ago in reply to: Disable all sorting by plugin #31521WPSOLR is replacing archives queries, including post type archives. Your custom sort cannot be applied.
wpsolrKeymaster3 years, 10 months ago in reply to: Disable all sorting by plugin #31518If you select the WPSOLR’s default sort “Relevancy”, no indication of sort will be sent to the search engine.
wpsolrKeymaster3 years, 10 months ago in reply to: Disable all sorting by plugin #31516The search engines will sort by relevancy (scoring) if none is mentioned, which is also the default WPSOLR sort.
