(I assumed your PDFs contain an image rather than text, hence the suggestion of using an OCR service to convert the images to text. If not, you need nothing special to extract texts from your PDFs)
wpsolrKeymaster3 years, 10 months ago in reply to: Integration with Algolia’s instantsearch.js #31510Hi, the plugin does not integrate to instantsearch.js: instead it lets your theme display the results queried from Algolia.
You can continue to use your favourite WooCommerce theme like Flatsome, and all the plugins that work with it (wish lists, favorites, basket, ….)

wpsolrKeymaster3 years, 10 months ago in reply to: Error on page with “solr_search_shortcode” shortcode #31501How do I display the search on a specific page if the shortcode is deprecated?
WPSOLR is replacing archive queries, and let your theme work as usual with the post loop to display results.
The shortcode is necessary on cross-domain search, when the current theme’s post loop cannot get details of external post idsThis is selected with the index.
Is the selected search template, on same 2.1 page, the “deprecated” shortcode?

wpsolrKeymaster3 years, 11 months ago in reply to: Can I push non-WP content to my AWS OpenSearch domain and return in with WPSolr? #31443No, because the plugin is expecting post types coming from the search results, to let the theme’s loop work as usual.
