It would require lots of steps, to index your ids and retrieve them from the queries.
You can get inspiration from /plugins/wpsolr-pro/wpsolr-pro/wpsolr/pro/extensions/geolocation/class-wpsolr-option-geolocation.php, where lat, long data is added to the index and ‘distance’ is retrieved from queries.
wpsolrKeymaster3 years, 2 months ago in reply to: Index ACF Fields as Filter #35291Yes, all types of ACF fields can be used as facets, including select and repeaters.
wpsolrKeymaster3 years, 2 months ago in reply to: Custom sorting fields doesn’t seem to work properly #35290Is ‘acf_1_str_asc’ in $default_sort_fields ?
wpsolrKeymaster3 years, 2 months ago in reply to: Custom sorting fields doesn’t seem to work properly #35285I’m using the WPSOLR_Events::WPSOLR_FILTER_SORT_FIELDS filter to override the sort fields for CPT_1
You do not need that.
I’ve added ACF_1 to the “2.5 Sorts” tab in WP with the text “My field” for the translation.
This should be enough to see your field in the sort list, with its custom label.
wpsolrKeymaster3 years, 2 months ago in reply to: New SOLR server says ‘Solr HTTP error: Upgrade Required (426)’ #35281It will be delivered in WPSOLR 23.4.
wpsolrKeymaster3 years, 2 months ago in reply to: New SOLR server says ‘Solr HTTP error: Upgrade Required (426)’ #35278You can try to fix the code in wpsolr/core/classes/engines/solarium/class-wpsolr-solariumclient.php, line 66.
Replace:
return new Client( new Http(), new EventDispatcher(), $solarium_config );
with
return new Client( Solarium\Core\Client\Adapter\Curl(), new EventDispatcher(), $solarium_config );If this is fine, I’ll add an option in WPSOLR 23.4’s Solr index screen to switch from http() to Curl().
wpsolrKeymaster3 years, 2 months ago in reply to: Pass Product Variation Ids in WP Post Object #35276WP_Post objects are returned to your theme, in the standard post loop. From there, your custom search.php file can retrieve anything from the WP_Post.
wpsolrKeymaster3 years, 2 months ago in reply to: issue In open Search document search #35257Can you give an example?
wpsolrKeymaster3 years, 2 months ago in reply to: Not able to index product category and orders not showing in woocommerce #35254“Neither collection nor core set”: it looks like a Solr problem. Do you use the same Solr index for backend configuration?
wpsolrKeymaster3 years, 2 months ago in reply to: Not able to index product category and orders not showing in woocommerce #35251In screen 2.1, use option “Replace admin archives” to use WPSOLR in your admin (orders, products, …)
wpsolrKeymaster3 years, 2 months ago in reply to: Not able to index product category and orders not showing in woocommerce #35240(As a quick fix, you could stop indexing taxonomies as standalone documents: they are used only on suggestions, to show with products)
Concerning your issue, which Apache Solr version is it? (for information, we support only 9.x)
wpsolrKeymaster3 years, 2 months ago in reply to: Best practice for placement of WPSOLR cutomizations to avoid overwritting #352381) I suggest you use the theme’s search template archive instead of of a custom search page. You can customize it as much as you want, with no issues from WPSOLR’s updates.
2) It looks like a Solr issue, perhaps RAM or disk. You can compare to a hosted Solr index from OpenSolr, and see if it goes better.
wpsolrKeymaster3 years, 2 months ago in reply to: issue In open Search document search #35236The error message mentions that field “autocomplete” is not defined in your index.
But this field is defined in the mappings definition used to create your index from WPSOLR plugin, /plugins/wpsolr-pro/wpsolr-pro/wpsolr/core/classes/engines/opensearch_php/wpsolr_index_1_0.json
You could try to create a new OpenSolr index from WPSOLR plugin, index it, and select it in screen 2.1 as your default search index.
wpsolrKeymaster3 years, 2 months ago in reply to: Not able to index product category and orders not showing in woocommerce #35232Sorry for that, but we had a major Solr schema update in the past.
You’ll need to create and use a new Solr index.wpsolrKeymaster3 years, 2 months ago in reply to: issue In open Search document search #35227It is not possible. You need to create the index from WPSOLR’s plugin, then index it, then search it.
