Some of your posts have been deleted, but remain in the index. It can happen when SQL is used to remove posts rather than the standard WP API. Typically, WP All Import does that to speed up deletion, but we have an add-on for this plugin to fix the issue.

In your current state, all you can do is either:
    – Delete you index content, and reindex
    – Create a new index, index it, and use it in search by selecting it in tab “2.”

Can you delete the cron settings in WPSOLR, and create a new one?

The url you call does not exist on your site. Either WPSOLR cron is not configured, or you do not have a WPSOLR PRO license.

Exact. The decay scoring is only available for Elasticsearch.

You can check the logs in your WPSolr cron settings screen. You will get statistics or errors.

You first need to activate the “Theme” extension to see the advanced facet layouts.

If sorted by score, the second sort by date will not help.

Try to contact them. Sometimes people are happy to share.

But I can tell you already that WPSOLR is as fast as your site is. If loading a single page is very fast, the search will be very fast also. If not, WPSOLR will be as sloppy. Because the time to search, or suggest with Ajax, is mostly spent in the standard WordPress loop of your theme. Not in WPSOLR.
With a local Elasticsearch on Cloudways, a search query takes 1-10 ms to WPSOLR.

You mentioned https://www.bladmuziekplus.nl/, but you can notice that loading one product page is around 400ms. Quite fast for WordPress.
For your site, a products is loaded in 3500 ms (for me at least). 7-8 times longer.
If you’re looking for a starting point to get faster, you should investigate there. There are plenty of tutorials on how too increase WP load time. Or even consultants.

Concerning the demo, you are right. But for a demo to be effective, it needs a lot of data. And loading up to a million products in WooCommerce is an art. It requires real data (fake data is simply repelling visitors), lots of time also.

You can define synonyms in Elasticsearch or Solr. If you can find some for flowers and put them in the right format in a single file.

Inspect both sites to see why your theme is overriding the bold css style in the suggestions. Eventually, you can override it in your own theme css or in the suggestions CSS.

The yellow highlighting should be there too for you.

Can you send me a screenshot of your theme’s suggestions?
