It should work there indeed.
wpsolrKeymaster5 years, 8 months ago in reply to: Algolia – splitting the text into smaller chunks #23805You can simply mark the post as not indexable: edit it, and check the “not searchable” option in the WPSOLR meta box.
wpsolrKeymaster5 years, 8 months ago in reply to: custom taxonomy and the search results #23803You are using the WPSOLR search template, which is deprecated (as mentioned in the screen 2.1 selection dropdown list).
You should use instead your own theme’s search template.
But I also noted an error message on the search “No alive nodes found in your cluster”. Which means you current (Elasticsearch ?) index is not reachable, for any reason.wpsolrKeymaster5 years, 8 months ago in reply to: Algolia – splitting the text into smaller chunks #23802We do not provide Algolia “distinct” feature as mentioned on https://www.algolia.com/doc/guides/sending-and-managing-data/prepare-your-data/how-to/indexing-long-documents/
I am surprised the article you mentioned is hitting 100K of texts.
Do you also index custom fields, or taxonomies with your articles that could add up to the total payload?wpsolrKeymaster5 years, 8 months ago in reply to: WPML and Marathi language #23795Then as you mentioned, create your English index, and link it to the Marathi language in the WPSOLR’s WPML extension settings.
wpsolrKeymaster5 years, 8 months ago in reply to: WPML and Marathi language #23793If you have only one language on your site, you do not need the WPSOLR WPML extension.
Just create your English index, and use it as-is with your theme.wpsolrKeymasterSome plugins can add dynamic sidebars, like https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-sidebars/
Also, most page builders can do the same, like Elementor.
And of course, you can edit your search.php to add a sidebar too.

wpsolrKeymaster5 years, 8 months ago in reply to: WPML and Marathi language #23789(I can see in your WPML SQL “| Marathi”)
Unfortunately, I do not think Marathi is supported by Elasticsearch: https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/analysis-lang-analyzer.html
It seems to be supported by Algolia though: https://www.algolia.com/doc/api-reference/api-parameters/queryLanguages/
wpsolrKeymaster5 years, 8 months ago in reply to: 4 Posts not indexed yet. Click on the button “synchronize” to index them. #23787They are automatically indexed if in tab 2.2 you selected “Index in real-time”.
What you see in the batch indexing screen is a safety feature: all posts modified are marked as “to be indexed” even if the real-time option is selected.
This way, if real-time indexing did not performed (no network, search engine unavailable …), you can just click on “synchronize” to index the updated posts anyway.
wpsolrKeymaster5 years, 8 months ago in reply to: adding a date from the post_date column (wp_posts table) to the index #23782You can use the range slider layout for your facet, with a great variety of settings, including country specific date formats:
