Wonky results when terms have same name but belong to different parents

Also, I did empty the index before reindexing the documents
wpsolrKeymaster1 year, 9 months ago #35042Can you give me the uri (without the domain) for https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vpbG97hCeQ5lbX6NZN0MIubMcX-Qb1HF/view ?
pridigitalParticipant1 year, 9 months ago #35044Yes. It’s /questions/topic/covid-19/admin-vaccines-covid-19/
And the other term is just /questions/topic/admin-vaccines/
pridigitalParticipant1 year, 9 months ago #35046No. I didn’t customize the plugin’s code.
/questions/topic/covid-19/admin-vaccines-covid-19/ should show “How are COVID-19 vaccines administered?”
/questions/topic/admin-vaccines/ should NOT show “How are…” but it should show other posts marked with that term.
So, right now /questions/topic/covid-19/admin-vaccines-covid-19/ works as expected, but /questions/topic/admin-vaccines/ doesn’t. Because it shows it’s posts plus the posts marked with “COVID-19 > Administering Vaccines”.
I even tried using other themes and I’m still getting the same results. Is there a way I can help you debug this further? Should we jump on a call or something?
Again, thanks for all your support.
wpsolrKeymaster1 year, 9 months ago #35050Can you activate the Query monitor add-on, and display here the screen capture of the WPSOLR query?
pridigitalParticipant1 year, 9 months ago #35061WPSOLR query from Query Monitor
PS: I’m using the same settings for all the facets.
pridigitalParticipant1 year, 9 months ago #35063/topic/admin-vaccines/ shows 105 entries which is wrong.
pridigitalParticipant1 year, 9 months ago #35064Here are the WPSOLR queries shown in the Query Monitor plugin. I posted the wrong link before.
pridigitalParticipant1 year, 9 months ago #35066wpsolrKeymaster1 year, 9 months ago #35072Here is a fix: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/r5tyjweydvinl0jiqerub/wpsolr-pro-fix-archive-taxonomy.zip?rlkey=wtpxqgrqozlhwzzseprfs50s1&dl=1
Please deactivate and remove the plugin WPSOLR, and install the fix instead.
