Select2 field only shows parent terms when tree display is enabled

    Hi there,
    We’re encountering an issue when enabling the “Select to display the facet as a tree” option together with the “Select box – select2 JS library” layout. When both are enabled, the select2 field displays only the parent terms. If the tree option is turned off, the select2 field correctly shows all terms.
    Could you explain why this happens and, ideally, provide a fix?

    The “Display facet as a tree” option is available only when the facet uses the checkbox layout.

    Could you explain why this appears as a selectable option when configuring the facets, as shown here?

    It is a UI mistake. The “Display facet as a tree” option should not appear with the select2 JS layout.
