Hi I have seen this video.

But it’s a bit limited for me.
Is there a set up you advice to have.

I have only set For Robots and Bots No-Index
And follow is ok to do.

Its something yoast says it’s wise to do.

Block your site’s search result pages

But how about all the other options wpsolr/yoast provide.
    i can’t find detailed info.

    Thnx

There is no info about the settings you provide in the plugin.
There is only 1 video, which is in this case quite unclear.

The Yoast and All in One SEO extensions are about 2 things: permalinks and meta informations

    – Permalinks
You can define the structure of the search urls, by selecting which facets will be added to the permalinks and in which position in the url. You can test it live on this site’s search.

    – Meta informations
You can decide if search pages are indexed by bots, and define a template for the meta title and meta description. Yoast will then insert both in each search page.

    Hi there!

Where in the WPSolr can I define a template for the meta title and meta description?

There are 2 fields for that in the WPSOLR’s Yoast SEO add-on.

What are the best settings for the Yoast, so we won’t get any problems with 404 – errors when pages or products will be removed?

Are you mentioning search pages, or single pages?

    Is it possible for both?

    – For search pages, it is often suggested no to index them. Hence, if a bot finds your search pages empty after your deletion, it is not a SEO issue. 404 do not apply to search pages, as they cannot be “removed”.

    – For single pages, Yoast premium includes a redirect manager https://yoast.com/wordpress/plugins/seo/redirects-manager/

And which checkboxes do you recommend to check in the WPSolr at 1. active extentions > Yoast?

First, do you need this extension?

The idea is to rewrite the search urls, and manage their metas: noindex, title, description.

But as said, SEO experts suggest not indexing search pages at all.
