updating to wordpress 6.2.1 and woocommerce 7.7.0 one filter stopped working

I just updated as stated in the title and noticed that just one of my filters stopped working (product category filter). I have several others that all are working fine. I am not sure how to troubleshoot the issue. I don’t see any errors in the console or the server error logs. Any help would be appreciated greatly. This is a major featured on my website.

Can you describe “one of my filters stopped working (product category filter)”?

For sure. When you click on the filter/facet, the loading animation works, but the products displayed do not change. The filters are working for our other product attributes.

In the js console, what does return the ajax call?

The response just looks like the html return of the same page. Is there anything specific I should look for? It’s around 40k lines of html.

And in the Ajax results, are the results correct?

The results are just the same as the initial page load. The status code is 200.

Does the url change when you select a category filter?

I am getting the same “error” with 23.0 (dev) and 22.4 (prod).

Here is our demo with WPSOLR 23.0, WordPress 6.2.2, and WooCommerce 7.7.0 : https://demo-woocommerce-flatsome-cloudways.wpsolr.com/shop/

Let me know if you find a similar issue.

No. The demo is working as expected. I went through the process of disabling all plugins and changed the theme. Still just getting the same page returned as the response. Not really sure what to do next.

What does look like the query? You can spy it with the Query Monitor add-on.
