Is it possible to use Virtual Replicas at Algolia to handle Sorts specified in WPSolr, to avoid the creation of a Standard Replica (and the associated doubling or tripling of record numbers)?
There are serious limitations in the results retrieved by virtual replicas: https://www.algolia.com/doc/guides/managing-results/refine-results/sorting/in-depth/relevant-sort/
We therefore chose to use replicas rather than virtual replicas.
