Why use Opensearch ?
Opensearch is an open source fork of a very popular and important search engine called Elasticsearch. It delivers an efficient and relevant search (that can power websites with millions of items or products) but also provides detailed analytics. Opensearch was created in 2021 because Elasticsearch changed it’s licencing from Apache version 2.0 to a more restrictive one.
