I forgot to mention that the bug is in one of the JS files. I think it’s in the autocomplete_solr.js file.

I posted the wrong link before.
pridigitalParticipant10 months, 2 weeks ago in reply to: Wonky results when terms have same name but belong to different parents #35063/topic/admin-vaccines/ shows 105 entries which is wrong.

PS: I’m using the same settings for all the facets.
pridigitalParticipant10 months, 2 weeks ago in reply to: Wonky results when terms have same name but belong to different parents #35046No. I didn’t customize the plugin’s code.
/questions/topic/covid-19/admin-vaccines-covid-19/ should show “How are COVID-19 vaccines administered?”
/questions/topic/admin-vaccines/ should NOT show “How are…” but it should show other posts marked with that term.
So, right now /questions/topic/covid-19/admin-vaccines-covid-19/ works as expected, but /questions/topic/admin-vaccines/ doesn’t. Because it shows it’s posts plus the posts marked with “COVID-19 > Administering Vaccines”.
I even tried using other themes and I’m still getting the same results. Is there a way I can help you debug this further? Should we jump on a call or something?
Again, thanks for all your support.
pridigitalParticipant10 months, 2 weeks ago in reply to: Wonky results when terms have same name but belong to different parents #35044Yes. It’s /questions/topic/covid-19/admin-vaccines-covid-19/
And the other term is just /questions/topic/admin-vaccines/

pridigitalParticipant10 months, 2 weeks ago in reply to: Wonky results when terms have same name but belong to different parents #35014Hi there,
I did and I’m still seeing the same bug. Is there a way I can help you debug this further?
Thanks!pridigitalParticipant11 months ago in reply to: Wonky results when terms have same name but belong to different parents #34835Well, I’m still seeing the problem. In fact, if I create a category term in a completely different taxonomy and try to navigate to the archive page, it shows entries from the other taxonomy terms.
To further explain the issue I’m facing here is the hierarchy I’m using.
– Primary Tax
– – Sci-Fi -> Post 1
– – Movies
– – – Sci-Fi -> Post 2
– – Books
– – – Sci-Fi -> Post 3
– Secondary Tax
– – Sci-Fi -> No Posts (show posts from the primary tax for sci-fi, movies sci-fi, and books sci-fi)I really appreciate your support to help solve the problem.
