    ok.

Let’s try to narrow down your request first, to evaluate the work.

    1) You have speed/timeout issues with the posts listings (/wp-admin/edit.php) and searching in the admin (/wp-admin/edit.php?s&post_status=all&post_type=post) ?

    2) Editing a single post in the admin is fine ?

    3) Is this only about posts, or about other post types in the admin?

    4) And Taxonomies?

    5) Any other performance issues in the admin?

    Hi Patrice,

editing post or browsing post, or any custom post type which more than 700-800k on strong server with optimized db with caching and etc seams to be a problem

there is not timeout because of server optimization, but speed while edit page with all post is loaded, or if there are a lot of meta fields, metabox for metafileds need to be exluced with function…

So i tought if you can make it work with backend it would be great…

For internal browsing or searching, WPSOLR could help.

For editing individual posts, no. As you said, your issues might come from joins between post and post metas.

editing post is on last place, this two are most important…

/forums/topic/release-21-6/ supports post type search in admin screens. Just select the option “Search in admin” in screen 2.1, then select “Index all statuses” in screen 2.2, reindex all. Create your admin suggestions if necessary in screen 2.4.

Did you check the “Index all status” option on your post type in screen 2.2? (you will need to reindex all your post types).
