I am looking to further optimize my site and looking at removing the counts that are displayed at the top of the page. Are these provided by the search service (in my case Algolia) or is this something on WooCommerce or WPSolr?
Counts on category archives are part of your theme. You can verify by deactivating WPSOLR.
