Hello,

We are using Advanced Custom Fields to add content to certain custom post type archive pages and we would like to be able to index and search against this content.

Ideally a search for a term like “resources” would result with the Resources archive page appearing in the search results, but currently it does not. I was not able to identify a way to accomplish our goal and am hopeful you can provide guidance.

It should work out of the box.
Just ensure that you selected your custom post type in screen 2.2, then indexed it.
Also, select “Post type” in screen 2.1 option “Replace front-end archives”.
