This is kind of related to the fact that I can’t seem to get permalinks working but I am putting this in a separate ticket.

Basically, the two fields for HTML title and meta description for the search pages I can’t seem to see displayed on the site. Maybe I am doing something wrong but just so I am clear:

There are two fields that each have {{meta}} in the field. It says”
“Set a title template for all your search pages. {{meta}} will be replaced by the search page keywords and filters”

However, like I said I haven’t seen my tests on the site anyway. I have cleared my caches and deactivated all other plugins as well as tested in an entirely new theme.

I would add also that I am curious how to control whatever does get displayed (essentially whatever arrangements and ordering of the meta that is supposed to be displayed).

This is a non-issue after understanding that the {meta} is only used in the actual search results (not the category pages).
