I don’t know how I get billed using the Wpsolr Algolia Enterprise plugin. I have only used the autocomplete search and user events for a few days.

Events Collected: 43 (conversion + click)
Search Requests: 621.32K (How is this possible?)

    Records: 1.14K

    Quantity: 612
    Item price: $0.50
    Total without taxes: $306.00

Have you checked in Algolia’s dashboard the type of queries sent?

Could be direct visits from a campaign, crawlers, DDOS, or a process importing data all day long.

The product is currently in the development phase, and we have only used it for 3-4 days.
It contains a hash URL on some of the pages.

    Mostly “/1/indexes/AlgoliaSearch/batch” queries are performing.

Can you please discuss this issue further? Instant searches and recommendations based on user events are looping out the API calls, forcing us to disable the plugin.

Based on your feedback, it could be related to https://www.wpsolr.com/forums/topic/autocomplete_solr-js-drives-an-endless-reload-loop-in-chrome-when-url-has/

But I doubt it, as the API you mentioned is performing write operations: https://www.algolia.com/doc/rest-api/search/#batch-write-operations
And write operations in WPSolr are performed while indexing data.

I see these API calls in Algolia being called from our plugin WPSOLR Enterprise every day, although the plugin has not been enabled correctly with the correct API keys.

    /1/indexes/AlgoliaSearch/settings?getVersion=2
    /1/indexes/*/queries

It looks like a cron job is working on in the plugin, which usually syncs up anything. Can you guide me in disabling the settings in this plugin so as not to send automatic updates or real-time configurations or not sync on a real-time basis?

In screen 2.2, select the option to prevent indexing in real-time.

You can then use our Cron Scheduling add-on to index at your convenience.

Real-time indexing has already stopped, but Algolia receives these events from the plugin.

    /1/indexes/AlgoliaSearch/settings?getVersion=2
    /1/indexes/*/queries

although the plugin has not been enabled correctly with the correct API keys

Can you delete the index first, and verify that no calls to Algolia are made anymore?
