What is the easiest way to add noindex and / or nofollow tags to all the facet pages? I know I can do this but only to the pages that are made available after someone searches (and filters) but not sure how to do this for facets available from category pages.

If you use one SEO add-on (All In One, Yoast), they provide a noindex/no follow checkbox. The tags will then be generated on each facet link.

Where are these setttings? In WPSolr? I only see options to noindex/nofollow the actual facets that are displayed after you search OR there is another option that allows to nofollow/noindex permalinks. Not on the category pages?

This option just adds nofolow/noindex on each facet link.

I guess I am still not clear here.

    1. All the facets displayed after a user searches have noindex nofollow tags.

    2. However, all of the facets made available on catgeory pages all have index follow tags which I need to change to noindex/nofollow.

Where are the settings with #2?

WPSOLR SEO add-ons do not work on category pages. Therefore the noindex/nofollow feature is not available on categories.
