Hello there,
How do I exclude the texts in the product detail from the search?

By default, post type description is indexed and search.

But you can select only the fields you need to search in menu 2.3 (Search fields boosts Options), and also give them a boost number.
For instance, the title with a boost of “3” would be searched with more priority than a colour attribute with a boost of “1”.

Does this feature work for elasticsearch?
When I saw the screen I thought it was just a setting for Solr.

Yes, you can select searched fields and add boosts for Elasticsearch.
