Dev setup for WpSolr Enterprise?

We’re developing on a shared dev public site (dev.ourdomain.site) and I have my own local docker setup using DDEV (site.ddev.site). On my local setup I’m getting this message:
License XXXXXXXXXX is not activated for site https://site.ddev.site/wp-admin/.
To receive automatic updates license activation is required. Please register or buy extensions to activate your WPSOLR ENTERPRISE.

What is the proper way to setup a local dev environment using WPSolr Enterprise. All other Enterprise level plugins we’re using allow dev setups without additional license. Is there a url or localhost we should use? I’m having 2 other third party developer companies work on the site also. How can they do local development?

    thanks,
    todd

Hi Todd, I understand your situation. As a result, I have decided to add 3 seats on your license, one for you and two for your third party development companies. Of course, for development/staging purposes only.

Thanks very much. Yes, all the domains are for dev only and will have dev in the site domain.

dev/test/staging license free environments will be available in WPSolr Enterprise 23.8.
