Customize the WPSOLR Ajax search template shortcode

    We are checking the plugin and we noticed that we cannot customize the search shortcode and/or the default search result contents using hooks/filters.

    We would like for example display a custom excerpt or a date/time in the default search.

    The Ajax search shortcode is deprecated. But to answer your question, not it is not possible to customize it.

    The “correct” solution is to select your own theme search template, in screen 2.1, to display WPSOLR results. Then you keep 100% control of how results are shown.
