boost values

    Hi Patrice,
    We’ve the following post types in CMS –
    storefronts
    post
    whitepapers
    pressreleases
    projects
    And I’m trying to boost ‘storefront’ posts to the top of search results, though I’ve given boost factor and boost values, still the search results showing default posts in the top. Not sure what I’m doing wrong.
    Our search engine is AWS ES.
    Here are search fields boost options mentioned, expectation is storefront type posts should come top.
    ‘type’ boost factor 9.0
    Boost values:
    storefronts^100.0
    post^0.3
    whitepapers^0.2
    pressreleases^0.1
    projects^0.4
    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++
    content boost factor 0.4
    [ no boost values]
    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
    categories boost factor 0.2
    [ no boost values]
    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++
    description boost factor 0.3
    [ no boost values]
    ++++++++++++++++++++

    Can you please review these options and help to get desired search results.
