    Thanks for the quick response.

You’ll have to change the search box form action to redirect the search to the same category instead.

Could you explain how this can be done? Any document/ reference to go through step-by-step to implement this?

Also, Is there any way to disable the WPSolr search feature for a search box used in the whole web application?

Also, when a user clears the search keyword and clicks the search to all the items, it throws an error

Also, this workaround is good for the search results but the WPSolr widget that has been used on the page still displays the values (such as Authors, Tags etc.) of all the results found in the Solr index. For example, when I see the WPSolr filter options on the blog page, I can see the author who wrote a lesson/course. Is there any ways to only display the values that belong to say posts, pages, course, etc.?

@wpsolr: Thanks for getting back with a solution. Please share a screenshot/screen video/gif, so it is easier to follow the instruction.

    Hi,
I am currently evaluating your WPSolr plugin and wanted to check if there is any option/ways to have two search box displaying content from “WP Pages” and another from “Courses”. These search boxes are in different pages. In my opinion, there could be two solutions:
    1. To put some code to filter the results based on whether the search box is for WP “Pages” or “Courses” or “Posts”
    2. Create different indexes for them

Please let me know how can this be solved.

@wpsolr: I checked the html code and I do not see the keyword embedded in the tags. Is there any way we can override the current theme so it can be visible? If we can change the background of the keyword(for example yellow), that will be very helpful.

Okay, great! Thanks for the prompt response. Could you tell me what should be the settings to make this work? I do not see it working with my current settings.
I could have attached a screenshot but I do not see any option in the editor. Please let me know if there is any ways to share that.
