wpsolrKeymaster5 years, 7 months ago in reply to: Search is not working at all #6829How do you know it is not working ?
wpsolrKeymaster5 years, 7 months ago in reply to: Show more facet items if requested #6821This is a very reasonable demand indeed for websites with lots of facet content, like with product attributes colors for instance.
It can be done with some css, by adding an
overflow: scroll;
(This will add a scrollbar to the facet)
See https://developer.mozilla.org/fr/docs/Web/CSS/overflow
Or, more simply, you could use the select box, or even select2 box, layout on your facet.
wpsolrKeymaster5 years, 7 months ago in reply to: Change the number of facets content displayed in the widget #6818Check in your Solr index that other facet items values are there.
If you cannot see them, it’s probably because they are not in the Solr index.
wpsolrKeymaster5 years, 7 months ago in reply to: Change the number of facets content displayed in the widget #6814In screen 2.1, change option “No. of values to be displayed by filters”.
wpsolrKeymaster5 years, 7 months ago in reply to: Amazon like search ? #6812Make an empty search. This is your theme’s rendering.
wpsolrKeymaster5 years, 7 months ago in reply to: Amazon like search ? #6810This is your theme’s speed to show/format results that will determine the overall speed.
Total time = WPSOLR query + your theme’s rendering
WPSOLR query time is in the order of milliseconds (with a local Solr Elasticsearch installation) .
wpsolrKeymaster5 years, 7 months ago in reply to: Amazon like search ? #6808Probably.
In fact it depends on your current site general speed.
WPSOLR search is virtually instantaneous.
But after retrieving results from Solr/Elasticsearch, it gives results to your theme. This is where most of the time is spent.
wpsolrKeymaster5 years, 7 months ago in reply to: Unexpected END OF FILE error in class-wpsolr-query.php #6802Thanks for the feedback.
This is fixed and included in WPSOLR.

wpsolrKeymaster5 years, 7 months ago in reply to: MyListing theme extension #6792Not yet, no.
We currently only provide Listify, Directory+, Jobify, Listable.
Let’s see if other visitors ask for MyListing too.
wpsolrKeymaster5 years, 7 months ago in reply to: WPSOLR is not indexing my data in real-time #6790I can confirm that your posts are indexed in real-time (unless you deactivated real-time indexing in screen 2.2).
But posts indexed in real-time appear also as “not indexed yet”. It is just a guarantee that they will be picked up by the next synchronisation, if the real-time event failed for any reason.
wpsolrKeymaster5 years, 7 months ago in reply to: Elasticsearch setup on Cloudways.com #6788I checked your search. It looks good to me. I can see the dynamic facets and the live suggestions.
wpsolrKeymaster5 years, 7 months ago in reply to: Elasticsearch setup on Cloudways.com #6786What is in your WP logs ?
Also, reading the Cloudways documentation, your Elasticsearch index settings in screen 1.0 should be:
Protocol : HTTP
domain: 127.0.0.1
Port: 9200
