i searched in hebrew yes.
product search in hebrew works perfectly but without the categories (like algolia)

as for orders, i just found out that 1 word hebrew search works. but if i write 2 words, first and last name for example, no results are given

i am waiting for elasticpress.io reply regarding hebrew
but tried elastic.co till they answer
was able to sync, and i can search products (still categories do not work like algolia)
but nothing appears on orders search at all

i played with the fields to sync a little and now product search is working with elastic.co!

I opened a support ticket with elasticpress regarding the matter.
Till they answer, I managed to sync all my orders and products to elastic.co (with the default english language).
but nothing comes up on backend search results. example for product name:

i tried my best, but i think i am not technical enough to understand the logic or how it should work..
on almost every step i am stuck for hours and i think to somebody expereinced it will be much easier and if we both can profit so why not?

i was trying to make the orders to be sorted by order number, we have almost 40k orders in the dashboard so they don’t even show as sorted when you do not search anything when the plugin is on.
after you search something, the results are all messed up..wrong statuses in the wrong tabs, and they are not sorted by order number while i tried to play with the settings for more than 2 hours before giving up for today:)
same for products.. i have 650 items and the girls at the office wanted to search for product category X and which items are out of stock..nothing worked.
same with coupons (we have almost 30k of them).
i also did not find a way to sync the users data to algolia, we have more than 25k users and its important for them to be there also. that and some more minor things that there’s no way i could configure by myself in my opinion, or even if i could..i still need to run a business.

as for frontend, our clients VERY like the color filters (in the screenshot), those are tags for each product and they display like that on frontend. we use a plugin named berocket product filters for those.
and under the color filters we have the category and subcategory filters but again with restriction to one level down .
the order by has few options in it, first is most popuplar (most sold items) and 5 more which clients like, no idea how to tackle that with wpsolr.
the search itself on the frontend should be fully ajax, with add to cart buttons in it so people can add to cart directly from the search field.
as for load more products without pagination we use berocket load more plugin which is nice, so of course that one should also be replaced with wpsolr.

initially we were using elasticpress plugin but it’s far not as versatile as wpsolr, so we ditched it for wpsolr+algolia config.
what i am trying to achieve is:
1. backend search speed on all possible db tables (i think it was slower actually on the way i configured wpsolr but i am sure i did something wrong)
2. front end search speed by keeping existing visual elements intact.
it’s a live website with hundreds of daily orders, and speed is key..so i always try to find things to improve and really would like to integrate wpsolr properly. our developer is not familiar with algolia and too busy with our other developing needs..
