Hello, I tried the new plugin from the link above for testing as I arranged some time today to finally test it out.
What was Fixed:
– Quotation marks fixed, now I can use filters that contain quotation marks
– Default Woocommerce sort using WPSOLR fixedWhat got broken:
– Selecting 3 or more facet options / filters started to display problems with unrelated results of products being displayed
– Ion range slider now has a conflict, does not work, reloads page and stalls the page from loading.Plugin was updated solely, no other updates were made. Woocommerce and WordPress versions were maintained (WC 4.3.3 / WP 5.5.1 / PHP 7.3.23)

OEMParticipant4 years, 8 months ago in reply to: WC 4.3.3. SORT no longer working. WC 4.4.1 now breaks Categories as well #21586You get the “no product found” default woocommerce message as if you searched for a product that does not exist.
Products and facets dissapear. Must reload the page.

It breaks the facets. It seems to work at first, but as more facets get selected for filtering, it ends up in error. So to test, you would have to have many variations / products. Testing a small amount of products and facets, it probably seem to work ok. As I said, only after going through a few of the facets that this problem starts to show up.OEMParticipant4 years, 8 months ago in reply to: WC 4.3.3. SORT no longer working. WC 4.4.1 now breaks Categories as well #21582Ok, no problem. I have no rush to update to latest Woocommerce. I can live with the Sort problem for the next few weeks.
Although, as an add on, if you recall I had problems with facets that contained the caracter ”
Maybe fix that issue as well together with the present issues 🙂 See topic below.OEMParticipant4 years, 8 months ago in reply to: WC 4.3.3. SORT no longer working. WC 4.4.1 now breaks Categories as well #21579Follow up, this happens under categories that was fixed with the above update.
Reverted back now to 4.3.3 as it is a live site.OEMParticipant4 years, 8 months ago in reply to: WC 4.3.3. SORT no longer working. WC 4.4.1 now breaks Categories as well #21577Ok, i did that. All seems ok but now the filters are acting strange.
After a couple filters used, it ends up saying “no products encountered” and the page becomes empty and the facets gone.
OEMParticipant4 years, 8 months ago in reply to: Bredcrumbs missing category levels #21565Any update on this situation ?
OEMParticipant4 years, 11 months ago in reply to: Synchronize index not working. #19791I urgently need this indexing issue resolved as we have one of our primary categories missing filters due to not being able to synchronising the index. We will also be adding more products soon. Anything I can do let me know.
Thanks! 🙂
OEMParticipant4 years, 11 months ago in reply to: Bredcrumbs missing category levels #19790Ok, I will wait for the fix. If some kind of payment is needed to accelerate the process, let me know.
OEMParticipant4 years, 11 months ago in reply to: Bredcrumbs missing category levels #19788If I deactivate the Woocommerce extension, breadcrumbs work ok.
But I can’t do that right now, website is live and that would remove our filtering.
Before I used WPSOLR only for the search.
In the last week we have now passed on to using WPSOLR with your Woocommerce categories extension and for the filtering as well. So I am trying to make it work perfect.
We used to use before a diferent plugin for filtering the products in the categories which did queries through MYSQL… which for our shop was no longer scaling to our needs due to the obvious reasons. Breadcrumbs worked well with that filter plugin (X for WooCommerce) and I had to do no changes, but I believe plugin developer had some specific settings / code built in there plugin to support the Kallyas theme correctly (as well as for many other popular themes).
OEMParticipant4 years, 11 months ago in reply to: Select2 drop down list – Maximum options limit #19786I tried now out of curiosity “-1” but it doesn’t allow to save the settings if this value is introduced.
OEMParticipant4 years, 11 months ago in reply to: Select2 drop down list – Maximum options limit #19783See my above reply.
OEMParticipant4 years, 11 months ago in reply to: Select2 drop down list – Maximum options limit #19781I just changed it to 500. It now works as intended and up to 500 results are shown.
Problem fixed!
Although setting to 0 does not give unlimited results as is indicated. Maybe a bug ?
Thanks! Never passed my mind trying a diferent number.
What are the drawbacks of showing more results? It doesn’t seem to slow down the processing time for the page load.
OEMParticipant4 years, 11 months ago in reply to: Select2 drop down list – Maximum options limit #19780No. of values to be displayed by filters
Is set to 0
Which should show unlimited values.
