Here is the plugin with a fix:

Replace your current version with this one, it should fix the categories synonyms duplicates issue.

Hello, I have same issue, also after downloaded fixed versione.

I have multiple categories with same name:

1) Spare parts: ricambi -> apple -> apple iphone -> apple iphone 7
2) Accessories: accessori -> apple -> apple iphone -> apple iphone 7

All categories have differents slugs.

I find a lot of accessories in spare parts categories

Here some screenshots.
